ಭಾರತವು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ದೇಶ ಎಂಬ ಥಾಮಸ್ ರಾಯಿಟರ್ಸ್ ವರದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಆಯೋಗ ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆದಿದೆ. ಭಾರತದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ವಿದ್ಯಾವಂತರು, ವಿವೇಚನೆ ಉಳ್ಳವರು ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ಮೊದಲ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
